Paying for your care.

If you are unsure where to start you can contact your local social services offices, who should be able to inform you of all the options available to you and also asses weather or not you are eligible for part or full funding of your care through them.

If you receive your care through social services, they will chose one of there approved providers to deliver the care, however you are entitled to choose the agency that you want to deliver the care and as long as they are registered with the care standards and are an approved provider they will arrange for the agency to deliver the care service.

The way in which community care services are delivered is improving. These changes mean greater choice to you and your family.

Through the Government's direct payments scheme, you have the freedom to choose who provides your care. We hope this page will inform your decision making by introducing Direct Payments .

With Direct Payments, you have direct contact with your care provider. All care staff are trained, uniformed and carry identification cards.
